The Purfleet Trust have had a busy month of events!

The Grand Opening of the Purfleet Pantry!

Last month marked the Grand Opening of the Purfleet Pantry. To see the development of the Pantry project over the year has been phenomenal and we have been humbled by the support we have had from the community, not only in South Lynn, but across West Norfolk.

It was brilliant to be joined by our partners from the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk and the Norfolk Community Foundation, as well as our generous business and food partners who have continued to support us throughout the year.

We had a brilliant turn out for the event and it was brilliant to see welcome so many of our long term supporters into the Pantry for the first time!

Celebrating our 30th Anniversary!

We would like to thank HM The King for allowing us the opportunity to hold our 30th anniversary celebration in unique setting of the Ballroom at Sandringham House, and the management and staff for their dedicated attention to ensure it was a complete success.

The evening took guests on the journey of the Trust, from our conception in 1993 up to the present day.

We showcased a brilliant short film, which focused on the most important part of Purfleet – the people. It was brilliant to see the passion of all the staff at the Trust and the way our clients’ lives have changed since they discovered us.

At the event we unveiled our 2022 Impact Report. The Report showed the work we did throughout the year and highlighted the stories of people we helped. In 2022, we opened the Purfleet Pathways in the North Lynn Industrial Estate, so it was a busy year!

We had a fantastic raffle and some very happy winners, so we would like to give a special thanks to Naked Wines, Middleton Hall Golf Club, AccentFresh, Sandringham Estate, The Bank House, and M&S for providing magnificent raffles prizes.

The event at Sandringham was in support of our Winter Support mission as we approach a critical time in the year. It was a brilliant success and we were delighted to see so many of you there to celebrate a fantastic 30 years of the Trust.
