What is the Purfleet Pantry?
The Purfleet Pantry is a social supermarket on the Southgates Roundabout in King’s Lynn. A social supermarket offers everyday food and essentials at affordable prices.
To shop at the Pantry you need to be a member. Membership costs £3 per year, no hidden costs or surprises!
Anyone can become a member and shop with us. You do not need to be living in South Lynn, have a PE30 postcode, or be claiming benefits.
It’s all possible thanks to our brilliant team of volunteers and our local and regional partners!

We sell everyday food at affordable prices. We stock fresh, frozen and canned, as well as toiletries. Our furniture section which has high quality furniture suitable for all types of homes.

Yes you do need to be a member. It’s easy to sign up though and only costs £3 per year.
Signing up is easy. You can do it if you come into the shop and ask for a form. Or you can sign up online here. Once you’ve signed up you’ll be asked to pay your £3 yearly membership fee when you are doing your first shop.
We use a points system in the Pantry. It’s very simple, 1 point = 10p. So if you see some toothpaste with 5 points on, it costs 50p! You can pay as you normally would at any other shop at our till.
No. We have customers who are on benefits, working, carers, and retired. Anyone can shop with us.
No, anyone can sign up for the Pantry, you don’t need to be living in a particular area.
No, everybody is welcome.
We accept cash, card and contactless!
We will deliver furniture to your house for a small fee. Please ask a member of staff and they will be able to tell you how much you will be charged.
Yes they are! Just try to only take what you need, other people may want some too!
