Homelessness Support
Since 1993, The Purfleet Trust has worked with people in King’s Lynn and West Norfolk who have experienced homelessness to access decent, suitable, affordable accommodation that meets their support needs.
Becoming homeless can happen to anyone but it does not define who you are. With the right guidance, advice and practical support we can empower you and help you with decisions that will have a positive impact on your life.
We offer a safe, inclusive and non-judgmental environment with no expectations placed on clients and access to everything you might need. Our teams have a wide range of expertise and experience so whatever your requirements may be, someone will be able to help.
The Purfleet Trust Support Mission
If you need support, or know someone who does, please get in touch or visit our Health & Wellbeing Centre and we will help however we can. No matter what your needs may be, immediately or longer-term, the Purfleet Trust and our partners in the community aim to provide a comprehensive package of support.
We also offer clients opportunities for work to gain skills and confidence, to volunteer to help others and longer-term support and advice to go into accommodation and employment if you wish.
We understand that your concerns may be immediate so we help clients with emergency and temporary accommodation as well as helping address any issues now.
We are always grateful for donations, both monetary and time. If you are able to, please click the Donate button at the top of the page. If you would like to volunteer with us or are in a position to offer support to the Purfleet Trust in a different way, please contact us here.
Purfleet Trust’s Health and Wellbeing Centre
Health & Fitness
At the Health & Wellbeing Centre, we actively encourage clients to engage in our fitness activities. Exercise is a great way of not only keeping fit and healthy but stimulating the mind and building confidence.
New Beginnings Fitness Suite
Our on-site gym
We also have our own custom-designed fitness suite on-site at the Health and Wellbeing Centre. New Beginnings provides clients with one-to-one and group fitness sessions organised by our resident trainer as well as the opportunity for individual fitness training.
We strongly believe in the power of physical activity in improving mental health and wellbeing.
The health and wellbeing of everyone involved with Purfleet Trust is a high priority. Alongside our other services at the Health & Wellbeing Centre, we also work closely with partners in social care and the NHS to provide screening, physical and mental health services.
- Do you have a health concern?
- Are you at risk and would like tests to check your health?
- Would you like to discuss sexual health with a professional?
We offer all of these services and more in a safe, impartial and confidential manner.
