On Saturday we held our fantastic Christmas Event

On Saturday we held our fantastic Christmas Event at the Purfleet Pantry. We were lucky enough to get Santa down to hand out free advent calendars! Special thanks to The Men's Shed for their festive craft stall and all the visitors we had on the day. Hope you had fun 🎅🎄

We are happy to have welcomed the Police and Crime

We are happy to have welcomed the Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk, Giles Orpen-Smellie and Head of Commissioning for the OPCC, Stephanie Stearman to The Purfleet Trust.

We were pleased to be able to show them our range of services across King's Lynn, and they were delighted to learn of our compassionate and tailored approach to supporting people experiencing homelessness in our area.

They were particularly interested in the work we do helping women who have experienced domestic abuse, and our early intervention services such as the Purfleet Pantry - where people can share their problems in a low-pressure environment and be referred to our other services if needed.

Aimed at improving mental wellbeing for our clients through story telling, we will be holding a series of these creative workshops over the next few weeks!

🎬 At Sandringham, we showcased a brilliant short film, with filmmaker @rosa_torr showcasing the most important part of Purfleet - the people. This film shows the way our clients' lives have changed since they started their journey, and the dedicated staff who support their positive pathways out of homelessness.

This week we held our 30th Anniversary Celebration

This week we held our 30th Anniversary Celebration Fundraiser at Sandringham House. We were so proud to be able to celebrate this fantastic milestone with many of our brilliant supporters. The evening took guests on the story of the Trust, from our conception in 1993, up to the present day.

The Purfleet Trust would wish to thank HM The King for allowing us the opportunity to hold our 30th Anniversary Celebration in unique setting of the Ballroom at Sandringham House, and the management and staff for their dedicated attention to ensure it was a complete success.

Trinity Rotary Club are long time supporters of The Purfleet Trust and it was a fantastic opportunity to show them round our social supermarket and explain the impact we've been having in the local area the last few months. 💙

The Purfleet Pantry was opened to tackle the Cost

The Purfleet Pantry was opened to tackle the Cost of Living Crisis in our area. We are so pleased to see the success of the project and brilliant feedback from all of our members as we've built up a community based around support, inclusivity and compassion 💙

We are delighted to announce that the Pantry will be holding is Grand Opening on Wednesday 27th September! The Mayor of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk, Councillor Margaret Wilkinson will be cutting the ribbon and it'll be a fantastic chance to celebrate the success of the Pantry so far and to thank all of our wonderful local food and business partners, who have made it all possible.

The Purfleet Pantry Grand Opening is open to the public, so if you'd like to come down to celebrate the project, or to find our what all the fuss is about, please pop down to the Pantry at 10am on the 27th to join us! 🥳

🚲 With the introduction of our new bicycle repa

🚲 With the introduction of our new bicycle repair shed we will offer local people experiencing homelessness the opportunity to learn bicycle repair and maintenance skills. But we need your help!

Do you have any:

🔧 Bicycle repair tools?
🛞 Materials such as innertubes, break blocks, discs, or cables?
🗜 Spare workbenches or bike racks?
