House2Home
The Purfleet Trust’s House2Home project provides furniture to clients moving into their new independent accommodation. We understand that moving into accommodation is an exciting time but can also cause anxiety, especially moving into an unfurnished and unfamiliar environment. This can lead to clients not settling in and risking falling back into homelessness.
House2Home works by receiving donated furniture and household items, upcycling and cleaning them up, and delivering House2Home packages for clients to help them move forward into independence.
We rely on donations of household items from the public, which we can collect. Any furniture or household items needed for setting up a home are considered. Soft furnishings must have a fire safety label attached.
We aim to make sure that every individual has not just a house, but a home.
