Pathways to Employment
At Purfleet we have always been passionate about providing holistic support to our clients. The pathway out of homelessness is often not a straightforward one and we provide long-term support beyond initial housing options, including helping clients progress towards employment.
We provide practical workshops to help clients learn skills in such things as woodwork, furniture upcycling and warehousing as well as training in retail, customer service and marketing.
Within Purfleet Pathways we provide both educational and practical opportunities. Our retail shop and our online shop allow clients to gain skills in business that are transferable.
Working with partners such as NWES we hold workshops and have access to grants and loans to help you get a job, or even enter the world of self-employment. Our employability coach will work with you to help you gain the skills you need and the confidence to move into work.
