What is the Purfleet Pantry?
The Purfleet Pantry is our social supermarket on the Southgates Roundabout in King’s Lynn. A social supermarket offers everyday food, essentials and furniture at affordable prices – available to everyone.
To shop at the Pantry you need to be a member. Membership costs £3 per year, no hidden costs or surprises!
Anyone can become a member and shop with us. You do not need to be living in South Lynn, have a PE30 postcode, or be claiming benefits.
It’s all possible thanks to our brilliant team of volunteers and our local and regional partners!
What the Purfleet Pantry offers
Cupboard staples
We have tinned, canned, chilled, and frozen food.
Toiletries
We have a range of toiletries, hygiene and baby products.
Furniture & clothing
We sell affordable furniture and clothing suitable for families.
Fresh produce
We offer fresh produce including fruit, vegetables and bread.
A social supermarket for the community
The Purfleet Pantry offers normal, everyday supermarket groceries and essentials at affordable prices. Whether you have a family or it’s just you – we want to help ease the cost of living pressure for everyone.
We also provide a range of family and community services such as children’s activities, practical cooking classes, access to a community allotment, specialist drop-in clinics and more.
We have made the Pantry available to everyone. This service is not means-tested, meaning if you feel you need to use the Pantry – you can.
