Team Purfleet Conquer Tough Mudder!
On Saturday, a huge team of 40 staff, friends, volunteers and local business partners came together as Team Purfleet to take on Tough Mudder in support of The Purfleet Trust.
Facing miles of muddy trails, challenging obstacles, ice-cold water and plenty of teamwork, the team pushed themselves to the limit to conquer Tough Mudder at Belvoir Castle, Grantham, in support of The Purfleet Trust and the people we help every day.
After huge success last year, we decided to take on Tough Mudder for a third time, and we managed to convince 40 participants, many from local organisations and businesses, to join us! A huge thank you goes to our t-shirt sponsors Greenyard Frozen, The Norfolk Agents and Steadfast Training for their incredible support in making this event possible.
After months of training, fundraising and preparation, it was fantastic to see such a large team come together and take on the course with determination, resilience and plenty of smiles along the way.
The team was all united by a shared goal: raising vital funds to support people experiencing homelessness and hardship across West Norfolk, which helped push us through to the finish line and victory.

Together, Team Purfleet has raised over £3,400 so far, with donations still coming in.
Every pound raised will help us continue providing life-changing support, including accommodation, training, wellbeing activities, practical advice and opportunities that help people move forward towards positive futures.
We are incredibly grateful to every participant who signed up, every supporter who donated, and everyone who helped make the day such a success.
Next up – Skydive!
Taking on Tough Mudder is no easy feat, and we are immensely proud of everyone who stepped out of their comfort zone, got muddy, overcame obstacles and made a real difference. However, the thrill seeking doesn’t stop there – in September, we’re challenging our supporters to a charity skydive at Beccles Airfield, and would love for you to join us.
