Donate Your Furniture
By donating your furniture, you can help vulnerable people and people experiencing homelessness in King’s Lynn and West Norfolk as they move forward into fresh starts.
The Purfleet Trust are accepting furniture donations to help support our work helping people experiencing homelessness across King’s Lynn and West Norfolk.
Our project, House2Home, gives vulnerable people the best start possible in their new property by providing the essential furniture to turn their house into a home.
Donated furniture is also used to furnish our Training Houses, which help prepare people for a future of independent, sustainable tenancies.
We also sell some of the furniture at affordable prices in our shop at the Purfleet Pantry. This gives people in need in our community access to vital furniture for their home, whilst supporting a local good cause.
Please refer to the information below if you’d like to help support a project like the ones above.
For drop-offs:
Furniture can be dropped off at the Pantry, where we can then transport it to our warehouse storage or deliver it directly to someone in need.
For FREE pick ups:
Our van can pick up your furniture for free anywhere in West Norfolk. Please contact us to arrange a suitable time for our drivers to collect your donations.
What can I donate?
We are accepting donations of good quality furniture, suitable for small flats and HMO bedrooms. This is the most common type of tenancy that our clients find themselves in.
Please ensure these have all relevant fire and safety labels or we will be unable to accept them.
