Our Reverse Advent Calendar Appeal!
Every year, we launch our Reverse Advent Calendar Appeal on the run up to Christmas.
Winter is a difficult time for vulnerable people and those experiencing homelessness in our area. With the colder weather comes increased heating bills and, sadly, the choice between heating and eating.
We aim to tackle food poverty at our Health & Wellbeing Centre this Winter by offering breakfasts and lunches every day to vulnerable people in King’s Lynn.
But we need your help!
Our Reverse Advent Calendar Appeal means that your can help us to provide meals every day this Winter!
Through our Reverse Advent Calendar, you can donate vital kitchen staples for our Centre and for people in temporary accommodation with limited cooking facilities.
Last year was incredible!
Last year’s Reverse Advent Appeal was a huge success! We’d like to thank everyone who donated, organised and gave so generously to support us in Winter 2023.
Lets make the Reverse Advent Appeal 2024 even bigger and better!
How does the Reverse Advent Work?
Every day in November you can put aside an item from the Calendar, all the way up to November 25th.
Then you will have 25 items to donate to The Purfleet Trust in time for Christmas!
Below is a fantastic calendar we have designed which you can print off and put up on your wall or fridge to remind you of what you can donate!
The items on this calendar above are only a guide to what we need – don’t feel that you have to follow it exactly!
What do I do when I am ready to donate?
When you are ready to donate you can drop off your items at our warehouse, Purfleet Pathways, from 29th November. You can find the contact details for our warehouse here.
Or you can drop off your donations at drop-off points around West Norfolk!
These drop off points will be accepting donations between 25th – 28th November.
