This weekend, Purfleet attended King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Pride’s family fete in the Walks!
This weekend, Purfleet were delighted to join the celebrations at Pride’s event in the Walks.
Pride is an important cause for us to celebrate. Research from Stonewall shows that almost one in five LGBTQ+ people have experienced homelessness at some point in their lives, so services such as ours are vital in offering support to LGBTQ+ individuals should they experience homelessness.
We held our information stand at the fete, which explained all about our services, including our Health & Wellbeing Centre and Purfleet Pantry.
It was a brilliant to attend and there was a real buzz around the event which was great to see. It was fantastic to be able to share our work with so many members of the public.
