Summer Activities at the Pantry
Both of these activity groups aimed at keeping children busy and giving parents the opportunity to spend quality time with their children and, with the Growing workshops, learn how to plant and grow their own micro herbs and plants!
At the end of the project, we provided the children with their a book bag filled with books to keep them entertained and engaged for the weeks to come!
This project was one of the many family-focused projects we run year round at the Pantry. We notice the importance of not only giving people in our area affordable, accessible family activities, but also providing them with opportunities to gain new skills and knowledge to help them to make healthy food and lifestyle choices.
Coming soon will be the continuation of our Cooking Classes, which will restart in the coming months!
The Purfleet Trust see the importance of providing immediate homelessness support to those who need it, and also providing the wraparound support to help people in our community make more healthy, sustainable life choices.
