Success of our Reverse Advent Appeal!
Throughout November, our wonderful community collected food and essential items every day with the help of our Reverse Advent Appeal.
In the past few weeks these have been dropped off to us here at Purfleet, and we have been blown away by your support!
The donations this year have been incredible. We have received hundreds of boxes and bags of donations, totalling thousands of individual items.
These donated food and essentials will not only go to supporting our kitchen at the Health & Wellbeing Centre, but also directly to vulnerable people living in temporary accommodation with limited cooking facilities.
We’d like to give a huge thank you to everyone who donated items to us this Christmas through our Reverse Advent Appeal – your support has been phenomenal.
We’d also like to give a very special thank you to the wonderful local businesses in our community who were selected drop-off points for this campaign. We wouldn’t have been able to organise it all without you!
Once again we’d like to give our thanks to everyone involved in this campaign. Your donations mean that we can provide essential support to people experiencing homelessness in our community, not only over Christmas, but into 2025 as well.
