Purfleet Trust Christmas Meal
The Purfleet Trust Christmas meal is an amazing event every year, where we come together with our clients to celebrate Christmas, create some wonderful memories and spread festive cheer.
Many of our clients sadly do not get the chance to spend Christmas with their loved ones as many of us do, and we are always so grateful to be able to provide this day for the people we support.
This year, we were delighted to be able to host the meal at the King’s Centre, supported by dozens of volunteers, to share a meal with almost 100 people.

Our wonderful volunteers
The Christmas meal would not have been possible without all of the wonderful volunteers who helped us to prepare and on the day.
We’d like to give a huge thank you to Mandy, our chef this year, who cooked an incredible lunch and gave our clients a meal to remember. We’d also like to thank long-term supporters John, Ivan, Adele, James, Tania and Allan for all of their help in the kitchen once again.
We were also joined by teams of volunteers from Greenyard Frozen and Tesco Hardwick, and we’d like to give them a huge thanks for joining us once again this year.
Supported by BEFA
We were lucky enough to once again be supported by the incredible Buckingham Emergency Food Appeal (BEFA) who kindly provided much of the food for the meal. They are an amazing charity who have supported over 150 charities and good causes in our region this year and we couldn’t be more grateful to have their support once again.
We’d also like to thank our supporters and local businesses for helping to provide food for the meal as well. Seeing our community come together for the Purfleet Trust Christmas Meal never fails to blow us away and we are so grateful to have such a thoughtful and helpful community as we do in West Norfolk.
A magical end to 2025
The Purfleet Trust Christmas meal was a wonderful way to bookend 2025.
This year has been one of challenges, but also amazing achievements for our organisation and clients. We have supported so many of our clients into new independent homes, inspiring training courses, exciting employment opportunities and powerful personal goals and it was amazing to share this meal with them to celebrate how far they have come this year.
We’d like to give a huge thank you to King’s Centre, Buckingham Emergency Food Appeal, Tesco Hardwick, Sainsbury’s Hardwick, Goddards of Norfolk, Loke Road Fish Bar, Greenyard, Watlington Drain Renovations and our wonderful volunteers for making it all possible!
To all of our supporters you continue to champion our work – you have made a real difference this Christmas. We can’t wait to see what 2026 brings!
