Did you know that it’s Volunteers’ Week?
It’s time to say thank you!
From the Monday 3rd June until the Sunday 9th, we will be celebrating Volunteers’ Week! Volunteers’ Week is a chance to say thank you to the wonderful people who volunteer their time at charities up and down the country.
Our volunteers at Purfleet are so special, and without them, we would not be able to do the important work we do tackling homelessness across West Norfolk.
From helping out in our Health & Wellbeing Centre on reception and in the kitchen, to organising and delivering House2Home packages from the Pathways Warehouse, and serving the community at the Purfleet Pantry, our volunteers are integral to what we do.
At Purfleet, we are dedicated to offering development and training opportunities to our volunteers. They choose to give their precious time to our organisation, and we love to give back.
This week we will be sharing stories from our volunteers across our social media channels to show the community of West Norfolk just how special our volunteers are! And we have a special celebration for them planned on Friday…
